# Network outage update - Australian customers

#### 1. Before You Start:

This firmware update is for Australian customers who experienced an outage due to a change in the cellular network March 30, 2022.

This upgrade provides a fix and allows you to update your Waterwatch sensor via Bluetooth to get it back up and running.

#### 2. Get Ready

Visit the app store on your mobile phone and make sure you have updated to the latest version of the "Waterwatch Mobile" app (5.0.12 or newer).

You'll need the Waterwatch magnet wand that was supplied with your Waterwatch sensor. If you no longer have your magnet wand, a strong fridge magnet can be used.

A ladder might be needed to access your sensor.

You will need your mobile phone with the Waterwatch app ready to go with your bluetooth and mobile data switched on.

#### 3. At Your Tank/Installation Site

At the tank, open your app and in the home screen select your sensor. Follow the onscreen instructions to connect to your sensor.

The Firmware Upgrade will begin once you are connected and will take two minutes to load and then verifying the update will take another two minutes.

Once the upgrade is complete your tank sensor will resume sending measurements to your app.

When you return to the home tab of the app, pull down to refresh the page and you should see a new level update.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.waterwatch.io/3.0.1/advanced/archive/network-outage-update-australian-customers.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
