# Connect to your monitor with  bluetooth

To connect to the app you'll need to be close to your monitor and have your magnet wand with you.

In the home screen, tap your monitor, then select Connect via Bluetooth and follow the connect instructions.

Now that you've connected, you can change alarm settings, re-run the setup wizard or go to [advanced settings](/3.0.1/advanced-settings.md) and [diagnostics](/3.0.1/diagnostics.md).
