# Pressure Sensors

### Tips For Positioning Your Sensor

If fixing to an existing structure ensure that it is firm and will not move. **For best results, keep the top vent free from moisture and rain.** [Protective covers](https://www.waterwatch.io/product-page/protective-covering) are recommended if the sensor is not able to be contained. 

Before fixing to a structure with the M4 screws provided, ensure that the structure is firm and will not move.
